Fishing Fever

Warm weather is quickly approaching, and with it comes the ever anticipated fishing fever. This year I plan on getting out and doing some actual fishing too. Last year snuck by without presenting an opportunity to cast a line, and that will NOT be the case this year.

I'm down from 3 baitcasters to just one now. One crapped out on me (Fin-Nor), due to the fact that it was pure junk, and the other just didn't have the guts it needed to be useful to me (Quantum). Proof that you get what you pay for, and sometimes it's worth paying more for something that isn't going to fall apart the first time a bass hits your line with all the subtlety of a runaway freight-train.

I've got my eyes on Suwannee Lake for some of my fishing this spring, but it being clear across the county, and with the cost of gas, I'll probably be spending most of my time on the banks of the Suwannee River. I'm mostly looking forward to getting back out to Oklahoma and fishing some of my favorite lakes there, most noteworthy being Lake American Horse which is awesome for both Largemouth Bass as well as Crappie and Bluegill. Lake Chickasha is another lake of choice, with some of the best Crappie and panfish action around, unless one is willing to travel twice the distance to Fort Cobb Lake.

In the coming season, I plan on trying to get more productive at my catfishing skills, since there's just nothing more enjoyable (or tasty) than a catfish fry on a warm summer evening with plenty of cool refreshments and stimulating conversation.

WAVERLY HILLS SANATORIUM!

WAVERLY HILLS SANATORIUM

This place is just amazing to read about. The history of this building is both scary and fascinating. I would love to to spend a couple days and nights in there with my photo gear.

Amazon Herb

Amazon Herb

I was really skeptical about these products working, but they are truly amazing. Only a week into taking various products like the Treasure tea and the Metabazon and I'm already noticing I feel much more energetic and clear headed. My overall feeling of well being, as well as my mood have dramatically been enhanced.
